Tumblelog is not only the worst Facebook app, but also the worst software application that’s ever been coded. I won’t go into detail, but let’s just say that the designers of Tumblelog should be torn limb from limb and fed to their own children.
I can’t get back the hours of my life that this idiotic TIME VAMPIRE of an app stole from me.
Worst. App. Ever.
Fastest Commie ride ever. 22 mph avg at pretty much max effort. (shut it JR - nobody has to know about the .1 mph smoothing that GC gives). ;)

Not a bowl of spaghetti.
Oak Cliff Nature Preserve with AP this morning. Beautiful ride but AP popped a chain… Did 2 laps - first at moderate pace and 2nd at max sustainable. Trying to gear up for the first NTX XC Series that starts at OCNP Aug. 9th. So far, so good.

River Legacy ride last night with AP, JR, and DL. 4 total laps. Lap 1 at warm up pace. Lap 2 at about 80% effort, Lap 3 at max effort. Did one last short lap at cool down pace, but didn’t record with Garmin.

Just started a new workout plan called Inflict (sounds fun huh).
The plan is twice a week and designed to supplement my bike riding with some strength training. First workout was tough but very doable. It’s also supposed to help with balance and flexibility, and I have to admit I feel pretty good after #1.
Check it out online or with the awesome FREE iPhone app the screencap came from.
JR, AP and I tackled the majestic beast that is Sansom for our annual Fathers Day quad slaughter. Sansom once again proved to be a fierce adversary and we were slain again by the climbing. Didn’t help to be on a single speed either.

Talked to Frank at Niner Bikes, and he was super nice and helpful. They have the rear triangle in stock (in black) and it’ll be shipped out this week. Can’t wait to have Kermit back in the stable.

Somebody out there just might want to know what I'm up to...
The Quick & Dirty: I started this blog shortly after my first "epic" ride to Syllamo, AR with JR & KL. I mostly wanted to chronicle our bike adventures, but also wanted one place to toss all web-related goodies I sTumble across. The blog title requires a bit of back story. The "racer-x" part came from a killer test ride I had on a Titus Racer X and my need to copy JR on every single thing I do (including the superhero avatar). The "tumblng (again)" part came as a nice double entendre after beginning the Tumblr usage and also taking an "ohmygodicouldhavedied" tumble off my bike on the side of a mountain at Syllamo. Lastly, the wretched, blinding green background color is inspired by my new Niner Jet 9 bike which is a very hard to ignore Kermit Green.
And that's about it.
